1. Prince Consort Aemond Targaryen
Aemond solidifies his place at the top of the standings after officially being named Regent in Aegon’s stead.
2. Ser Criston Cole
Cole holds onto second place thanks to his close relationship with Aemond.
3. King Consort Daemon Targaryen
After a long absence, Daemon returns to the top five as he builds momentum in the Riverlands. He is the single biggest threat to the Greens at this point, and that threat will only grow as his army starts to take shape.
4. Lord Larys Strong
Aemond doesn’t trust Larys as much as Aegon did, but surely he understands his value. He stays in fourth until we figure out what direction Aemond takes.
5. Queen Alicent Hightower
Alicent made a desperate attempt at becoming Regent and was swiftly shunned by the Council in favor of Aemond. With Cole and Larys backing Aemond, she is left with no allied on the Council. If she can’t consolidate her relationship with Aemond, her influence will be in free fall.
6. Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen
Rhaenyra shoots up a few spots because it looks like she finally understands that her role as Queen primarily involves the delegation of tasks.
7. Lord Corlys Velaryon
As Hand of the Queen, Corlys gets an immediate bump. His importance to Rhaenyra can not be overstated.
8. Prince Jacaerys Velaryon
Entering the top ten for the first time is Jace, who continues to prove himself with every opportunity. His most recent treaty with the Freys expanded Rhaenyra’s options.
9. Lord Tyland Lannister
Aemond has ordered the Lannister forces to march towards the Riverlands with the intention of engaging Daemon in the near future. Tyland’s brother Jason might become more relevant soon, but for now, Tyland remains a key figure for the Greens.
10. Lord Simon Strong
Simon has proven invaluable to Daemon thus far, and as a result, he cracks the top ten for the first time.
11. Princess Baela Targaryen
Baela has picked up much of the mediation tasks that Rhaenys had assumed. She was instrumental in getting Jace and Corlys back on the same page with Rhaenyra in this episode.
12. Mysaria
While Baela has picked up Rhaenys’ mediation tasks, Mysaria has picked up her role as Rhaenyra’s confidant. Mysaria’s connections in King’s Landing are a big help as well.
13. Ser Gwayne Hightower
No appearance.
14. Ser Otto Hightower
No appearance.
15. Alys Rivers
Alys is a bit of a wild card right now. For whatever reason, Daemon feels comfortable confiding in her.
16. Lord Willem Blackwood
You could make a case for Lord Blackwood debuting in the top ten due to his importance to Daemon at the moment, but I have a feeling Daemon might give him up to appease the disgruntled Riverlords, so I’m holding off for now.
17. Lord Oscar Tully
With both sides fighting for the allegiances of the young Lord Tully, he’s poised to play an important role soon enough.
18. Lady Jeyne Arryn
Lady Jeyne Arryn is no pushover. She’s strong and intelligent, and she has 15,000 men that Rhaenyra needs. It looks like Rhaenyra will have to do more to secure her support.
19. Lord Amos Bracken
Daemon’s tactics to get the Brackens on his side were extremely questionable. They have proven themselves as stubborn fighters, so I can see them switching sides if the opportunity arose.
20. Lord Jasper Wylde
Jasper backed the right horse.
21. Princess Rhaena Targaryen
Rhaena’s been put into a tough situation by Rhaenyra and she will have to do wonders to keep Lady Jeyne Arryn happy.
22. King Aegon Targaryen II
Aegon may not be dead, but he is incapacitated so I don’t foresee him rising up the ranks anytime soon or maybe ever.
23. Queen Helaena Targaryen
No contribution.
24. Grand Maester Orwyle
Orwyle backed the wrong horse.
25. Lord Borros Baratheon
No appearance.
26. Ser Harrold Westerling
No appearance.
