1. Prince Aemond Targaryen
Aemond chomps and burns his way up to the top spot thanks to his strategic role in a resoundingly successful two-week military campaign into the Riverlands.
2. Ser Criston Cole
Cole solidifies his position near the top of the standings thanks to his role in the aforementioned military success. “Kingmaker” is a nice nickname to have, but he might come under pressure for Aegon’s near-death experience.
3. Queen Alicent Hightower
A combination of her secret meeting with Rhaenyra and Otto’s dismissal have awoken the more aggressive side of Alicent. With Aegon incapacitated and her brother by her side, she might see her influence grow yet again.
4. Lord Larys Strong
Larys came under pressure from Aegon after Harrenhal was taken by Daemon, so he drops a spot. Nonetheless, he remains as dangerous as ever thanks to the dirt he has on Alicent which now includes her infidelity. Maybe he knows too much at this point, and that could put him in danger.
5. Ser Gwayne Hightower
Gwayne soars into the top-five thanks to his de facto role as second-in-command to Cole. He might even claim more glory since he was the one that led the siege of Rook’s Rest whilst Cole went searching for a fallen Aegon.
6. Ser Otto Hightower
No appearance, but those under Otto have not done enough to move up.
7. Prince Daemon Targaryen
Daemon may be losing his mind, but his slow ascent up the standings continues. Now that Rook’s Rest has fallen, Daemon’s quest to raise a force at Harrenhal is more critical to the Blacks as ever.
8. Lord Corlys Velaryon
Corlys moves into the top ten mainly because others above him have not had a great time this episode. His blockade of the Gullet is the only thing keeping the Blacks in this fight right now.
9. Lord Tyland Lannister
With the Crown’s funds depleted, Tyland must now prove his worth as Master of Coin.
10. Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen
Rhaenyra is barely hanging on to the top ten as a result of her continued poor decision-making. Her Council doesn’t have any faith in her leadership and she’s just lost the one person that always had her back. Rhaenys was the Blacks’ most experienced rider and Meleys was their biggest dragon. Their loss can not be overstated.
11. Lord Simon Strong
Simon isn’t as hapless as he initially appeared to be. He’s very quickly proven his worth to Daemon.
12. Princess Baela Targaryen
Baela’s confidence is growing despite the Council’s continued attempts to undermine her.
13. Jacaerys Velaryon
Jace finally had enough and challenged Rhaenyra publicly. With Rhaenys gone, Rhaenyra can no longer afford to keep him out of action.
14. King Aegon Targaryen II
Aegon plummets down the standings as a result of his near-fall with death. His recovery is unclear and uncertain, so we’ll have to wait and see in the coming episodes. Regardless, what little influence he had before has been completely decimated.

No contribution.
16. Alys Rivers
Alys’ intentions are unclear, but she warrants a place on this list now that Daemon’s taken her potion.
